Maintenance is essential to maximize the durability of your Club Car cart!<\/p>\n<p>Here are the necessary steps:<br \/>\nA. Raise your cart steadily using a lifter.<br \/>\nB. Remove the wheels from the cart.<br \/>\nC. Remove the drum<br \/>\nD. Using an air gun and brake remover, clean the shoulder and brake bands.<br \/>\nE. Lightly sand the brake bands.<br \/>\nF. Remove excess dust with the air gun.<br \/>\nG. Using white grease, lubricate moving parts. More precisely the shoulders of the brakes and the slide.<br \/>\nH. Using your palms, hit the brake bands about ten strokes so that they are able to move. We do not want the tapes to get stuck, which could cause a defect.<br \/>\nI. Put the drum back on<br \/>\nJ. Test the brake latch by turning the drum, to make sure the brake is working properly.<br \/>\nK. Check the brake cable for damage.
